Autumnal Witchlings

All my drawings fall into one of three subjects: Boring landscapes, Worried men or Young witches and Hairy monsters. The reason the last one isn't split is because I often draw a gradient of hybrids between young witches and hairy monsters, these are purely young witches though.
It is autumn, I have moved to London, I work for Cartoon Network doing background layouts.

Sketches from when the summer ended.

Here are a few of the sketches I've made over the last month or so...

Most of what I have been drawing however has not been naked, but just stuff... stuff not really worth showing, like these:

I think I've seen too many kaidan movies

I've made lots of little thumbnails

and plants!

Nakedness

I've drawn quite a bit this last week, here are the drawing that contain nudity:

these girls are gesticulating that I forgot to draw clothing on them

these girls doesn't seem to care much

this girl is very enthusiastic about the greek myth about the goddess Diana causing the demise of a prince who saw her naked when he was out a-hunting

And finally a self-portrait

I was at FMX and Stuttgart International Trickfilm Festival the week before last week. That was really really cool, there was just so much to see and so many people to talk to.
One of the most exciting presentations I was at was about hand drawn special effects animation by a guy who used to work at Disney. I even bought his book afterwards and got him to sign it... just because. So I've been drawing abstract shapes a lot recently.

And at the film festival I saw this amazing short.

Also drawings:

A friend of mine suggested that if I was stuck in a certain pattern with what I draw I should make a project where I use those things and keep doing it until I grow tired of it, like hearing a song that's stuck in your head over and over again until it looses all consistency.
And if it doesn't throw me out of the pattern at least what I do would turn into something and evolve instead of just being the same again and again.

Well it made sense to me and I'll give it a try, so soon there'll come some continuous thing from my side with lots of girls and monsters! yeah! >:(

Sketches

These are just some various sketches I made last week, when I had winter break. I saw a few Shaw brothers film so I've been drawing kung-fu! But you don't get to see most of that.

Here are some recent sketches I've made.
I'm in kind of a dilemma at the time because I've realized that I'm a lot better at painting backgrounds than I am at drawing characters, but I prefer drawing characters, so I don't know what I should focus on developing.

I have been really busy this January with school; so my intentions of keeping a cool sketchblog have been grossly neglected, but I finally get some time to just look through my recent drawing and scan a few of them.
Most of these were made during December when I was home at my parent's house for Christmas, the rest were made this January.
As you can see I mostly draw girls and monsters... can't really explain why.
